Ladywell

Located near Speen Lane, it is a short walk down a scenic lane. The Ladywell is thought to date back to before 452 AD. Springs and wells were important in Iron Age traditions and were often attributed to healing qualities or the power to grant wishes. They also provided an unlimited source of natural water.

The Pound

The Pound is located at the junction of Pound Lane and the A4. This is where animals were kept until the owner of them could afford to pay back the debts that they owed.
