RESCHEDULED: Community Forum – Cost of Living and Flood/Winter Preparedness

Published: 25 November 2024

Join West Berkshire Council at 6:30pm on Tuesday 3 December for the next community forum, an informative session focussing on winter preparedness in West Berkshire.

This forum is an opportunity for residents, community members, and stakeholders to come together and discuss the local challenges and opportunities that can shape the future of our neighbourhoods.

The aim of this forum is to make you aware of resources available to help you out during times when you might need a bit of extra help. You will have the opportunity to find out more about current resilience plans, support that is available, local community initiatives and ask any questions you may have.

Topics that will be discussed include:

• Flood Prevention

• Cost of Living

• Welcome Spaces & Local Community Initiatives

Justin Pemberton, West Berkshire’s Executive Member for Public Safety and Community Engagement, said, “This community forum offers important discussion and information for residents as we head into the winter months. It’s an opportunity to prepare for any challenges and to find out about the support available to assist them.”

Please send your questions to CommunityForumQuestions@westberks.gov.uk by midday Friday 29 November and they’ll be answered by West Berkshire Council during the forum.

You can attend the forum online via Zoom.

To attend, please email CommunityForumQuestions@westberks.gov.uk to register your attendance. West Berkshire Council will be sending out the link to join the forum virtually via Zoom, closer to the time.
