West Berkshire Council Cost of Living and Flood/Winter preparedness Community Forum
Published: 18 November 2024
West Berkshire Council invites you to join them at 6:30pm on Tuesday 19 November for the next community forum, an informative session focussing on the cost of living, flood prevention and winter preparedness in West Berkshire.
This forum is an opportunity for residents, community members, and stakeholders to come together and discuss the local challenges and opportunities that can shape the future of our neighbourhoods.
The aim of this forum is to make you aware of resources available to help you out during times when you might need a bit of extra help. You will have the opportunity to find out more about current resilience plans, support that is available, local community initiatives and ask any questions you may have.
Topics that will be discussed include:
- Flood Prevention
- Cost of Living
- Welcome Spaces & Local Community Initiatives
Justin Pemberton, Executive Member for Public Safety and Community Engagement, said:
"This community forum offers important discussion and information for residents as we head into the winter months. It's an opportunity to prepare for any challenges and to find out about the support available to assist them."
To ensure that your concerns are addressed, West Berkshire Council encourages you to submit your questions in advance.
Please send your questions to CommunityForumQuestions@westberks.gov.uk by midday Friday 15 November and they'll answer them during the forum.
You can attend the forum in person at Hungerford Town Hall or join online via Zoom, making it convenient for everyone to participate.
To attend, either virtually or in person, please email CommunityForumQuestions@westberks.gov.uk to register your attendance stating whether you will be there in person or online. West Berkshire Council will be sending out the link to join the forum virtually via Zoom, closer to the time.
