Vacancy for Clerk to Speen Parish Council - May 2017
Sadly, our current Clerk is planning to move away from the area with her family in August so we are recruiting for a replacement.  The role is part-time, 18hrs per week mainly from home but with approximately 4-5 evening meetings per month.  You will be required to have good literacy, numeracy, computer skills and an ability to work independently.  Use of car essential.  Competitive salary, pension and home office allowance.  The job involves preparing agendas & minutes, governance & financial processes, correspondence, website and other duties (see detailed job description).   Local government experience preferred.
Salary is Local Authority SCP (Spinal Column Point) 21-25 depending on experience (equivalent to £10.47 to £11.78 per hour).  There is a £500 pa allowance for home as office (currently under review).  There is a NEST pension and annual leave allowance.
